Sustainable Design

JHA Consulting Engineers is committed to sustainable design within all projects. We constantly research new technologies to support global efforts in the reduction of Green House gases and reduce energy and water consumption. We aim to integrate sustainable solutions directly into the design process, targeting first principles approaches to optimising critical aspects such as thermal comfort, daylighting, lighting amenity, and water minimization, rather than providing purely “add-on” solutions. We provide full technical assessment of sustainable initiatives to test concepts before applying them to designs. We also aim to not just follow the industry but to challenge conventional thinking in order to optimize outcomes. Increasingly, as sustainable targets increase, this approach needs to be taken. We understand the implications of this. Our company personnel include Greenstar & Nabers accredited professionals.
