JHA Engineers share their knowledge at North Sydney TAFE

Two JHA Engineers are spending an evening a week teaching at the local North Sydney TAFE sharing the knowledge they have gained in the industry to students studying for a Diploma of Hydraulic Services Design.

Chris Harpley, JHA Senior Hydraulics Engineer has been working in the plumbing/hydraulic industry for over 40 years and understands the importance of giving back to the industry. His knowledge comes from his years of experience added to his Civil & Environmental Engineering degree. He has been teaching at North Sydney TAFE this year on various Storm Water systems and the numerous Waste and Trade Waste Drainage systems.

Cato Todd initially studied Mechanical Engineering at University but moved over to the building services industry to specialise in wet and dry fire services. At NSW TAFE he is teaching fire sprinklers in conjunction with the NCC and the Australian Standards. Cato has over 2 years’ experience and became an engineer for his love of problem solving, thinking up new ways of fire safety solutions.
