Four Seasons Hotel Grand Ballroom, Sydney

Plenty of stories have started in the Four Seasons Hotel’s Grand Ballroom.

Now we can tell our own: our engineers designed five-star services flexibility into an iconic space without cables, ducts and pipes intruding on the opulence.

SERVICES | Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Fire

The refurbished pillarless ‘Grand Ballroom’ at The Four Seasons Hotel is certainly living up to its name, with a ‘Grand’ contemporary interior designed by award-winning Australian architects Bates Smart.

The huge space is used primarily for weddings, corporate events, gala dinners and other prestigious celebrations. The room comfortably seats up to 520 guests in a banquet setting or up to 1000 people cocktail style, adding to its versatility it can also be divided into two smaller ballrooms.

JHA Consulting Engineers have a long-standing relationship with the hotel and we’re proud to provide Electrical, Hydraulics, Fire and Mechanical Engineers for this iconic room. Our Fire services team coordinated the design of the sprinkler heads for the unique architectural coffers. In coordination with the ballroom redesign, JHA carried out the new fit out of the commercial kitchen and associated pantry in the back of house areas.

We are also undertaking multidisciplinary building services commissions for the investigation, design and construction of various projects throughout this iconic luxury Sydney Hotel.

JHA Consulting Engineers supplied Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic & Fire Services on the Four Seasons Hotel Mode Kitchen & Bar. Working closely with the architects Luchetti Krelle and project managers Savills.

We have also recently completed the design of the guestroom upgrade works for specialist lighting, acoustics, electrical, audio visual & technology, mechanical, hydraulic and fire services.
