Another WIN for Charles Sturt University

CSU’s Engineering Building in Bathurst has won the 2017 Sustainability Building Award for the education category.

The Sustainability Awards have been running for over 10 years and aim to reward projects whose design will lessen their environmental impact. The education category criteria is a preschool, primary, secondary or tertiary educational facility and/or joint research facility in which an educational institution is the major partner.

JHA Consulting Engineers were the Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) consultants on the project, working closely with the architects ThomsonAdsett. This unique building has many sustainability initiatives including Sensible Heat Exchanger, Highly Efficient LED Lighting, Maximising System Integration and Dedicated Research Weather Station.
