BMW and Mini Australia have refurbished and redeveloped their flagship Rushcutters Bay showrooms to function as their new state of the art head office, in what is one of the largest dealership refurbishments in Sydney’s history.

The construction site spans across 6,900m2 where a five-storey dealership measuring 5,000m2 is built.

The development provides a multi-functional establishment to customers with exquisite facilities, such as an open-plan reception and customer lounge area, plus a café area dubbed as the “customer oasis” – to be open to the general public.

The facility also includes office and display areas to showcase up to 100 + vehicles, parts storage and training centre, a six storey carpark with a green wall extending down the external façade along with a specialized workshop capable of servicing 100 + cars per day.

JHA Consulting Engineers have collaborated with Taylor Construction Group and Grateholt Plumbing, to deliver the complete hydraulic engineering services for the development, including potable hot and cold water, recycled non-potable reused water, natural gas service, sanitary and trade waster drainage, roof and stormwater drainage systems along with the fire hydrant and fire hose reel systems.

The BMW Group are set to perform outstandingly on a local and international platform with the fresh facelift to the brand.
