Harold Park, Forest Lodge, NSW

Harold Park is a collection of architecturally designed high end apartment buildings, each with its own unique identity.
Located just 2.5km from the city and neighbouring the dynamic Tramsheds redevelopment – one of Sydney’s newest food experiences – Harold Park has made a significant impact on the landscape of apartment living in Sydney.

CLIENT | Mirvac
SERVICES | Electrical, Specialist Lighting
LOCATION | Forest Lodge, NSW

The new urban precinct is built on the old Harold Park Paceway, a harness racing track which operated from 1890 to 2010. One third of the site has been allocated as parkland with cycle paths and easy access to public transport, seamlessly merging the new precinct into the quiet neighbouring boroughs of Glebe and Forest Lodge.

JHA have been working closely with Mirvac and their partnering architects to deliver electrical engineering and specialist lighting services for Harold Park across 5+ precincts, supporting Mirvac since the initial project inception.

Our team have literally watched each building rise from the skyline from our JHA headquarters on the other side of Sydney harbour. Once complete, the entire development will house approximately 2,500 residents within 6 buildings, and will not just have created a place to live but be part of a distinct vision for community living. Seeing the area being transformed into a community in this way has been especially rewarding.

The first building ‘Locarno’ opened in 2014 and was named after a New Zealand chestnut stallion who surprisingly won the 1980 Miracle Mile.
