
Foodle Highpoint
Located in the western suburbs of Melbourne in Highpoint Shopping Centre, Foodle is a brand new, 2,400sqm powerhouse Asian food emporium. Foodle features a live pick-and-point seafood, premium butcher, sushi counter and oyster bar, restaurant, Asian bakery, dumpling and noodle bar, fresh produce and grocery shelves with 13,000 lines. JHA delivered building services engineering consultancy for this exciting new project.

Dan Murphy’s Martin Place
Dan Murphy’s new concept store, Martin Place Cellar, provides a premium range of wines, bespoke spirits and curated beers in a temperature controlled environment. Certain design features such as the marble columns were preserved, to maintain the legacy of the heritage listed building. JHA delivered electrical, specialist lighting, mechanical, hydraulic, fire, acoustic and ESD services for the new store.

New Sydney Fish Market
$750M redevelopment of the Sydney Fish Market which will create 4,800sqm of public space and accommodate a variety of fishmongers, specialty food retailers, restaurants, cafes and bars. JHA has been engaged by Multiplex to occupy a peer review role to oversee the Contractor’s electrical design finalisation, sign-off on the design, workshop drawing reviews and construction/ commissioning phases of the project. JHA’s current involvement from a Smart Buildings perspective includes stringent reviews of integrated communications network (ICN) design decisions, networking schemas, subcontractor management and review of interdisciplinary design coordination.

UNSW Bookshop
This project saw the transformation of the UNSW Bookshop to enhance the space as a key social and cultural destination within the University campus. Located at the heart of the campus, the modernised bookshop provides an open central zone that can be used for events, a cafe lined with bookshelves, built-in benches and lounges, and a storefront coffee servery with outdoor seating. JHA provided mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, audio visual, ESD/Section J and specialist lighting design.

David Jones
Refurbishment of the David Jones flagship store in Sydney’s Hyde Park District. This project involved expanding the iconic store from eight to twelve operating retail floors, including new basement and rooftop trading levels, new customer entry, access connection & improved pedestrian linkage to St James Station, and relocation of staff to a new head office location. The complex redevelopment involved integration of the David Jones Market Street store into the Elizabeth Street location to deliver a modern retail experience that celebrates the rich history of the heritage site. JHA delivered mechanical and high voltage services for the major redevelopment.

BMW Rushcutters Bay
Extensive renovation of the BMW flagship dealership in Rushcutters Bay. The five-storey premium dealership includes two car showrooms (BMW and Mini), a workshop area, offices, storage, training centre, cafe, and a customer lounge area. JHA collaborated with Taylor and Grateholt Plumbing to deliver hydraulic engineering services for this project.

Porsche Sales & Service Centre
JHA delivered electrical services and specialist lighting design for the Porsche Parramatta Sales and Service Centre. The project was managed by Reitsma Constructions with the architectural design completed by Figgis Jefferson Tepa architects. The electrical design required integration of new electrical services & infrastructure with the existing, in order to manage the additional requirements of the new installation. The luminaires for the showroom floor and adjacent office spaces were carefully selected, taking into consideration the Australian Standards as well as Porsche’s international Standards for lighting design. Given the precision engineering and mechanical aesthetic of the Porsche brand, the selection of bold angular fittings, made from linished steel were selected.

South Village Kirrawee
South Village is a new residential, retail and parkland precinct located in the heart of Kirrawee. The mixed-use development features 750 apartments spread across 7 buildings, a shopping centre including Coles and Aldi supermarkets, dining precinct and a 9,000sqm public park for the local community.
